The Sky Angel Cowboy!
Logan is a 13 year old who lives in the sandhills of Nebraska on a family ranch with his Dad and Mom and his sister, Erica. Logan is homeschooled and listens to KSBJ on Sky Angel. Over the last two to three years, Logan has been calling KSBJ in Houston, TX to visit with the DJ's, share his thoughts about life and his walk with Jesus.
Life on the ranch can be wonderful yet have it's challenges just like all walks of life. On October 26, a series of events happened that opened people's eyes to how big God is. Logan had put down an injured calf that morning; his heart was broken. We know in scripture that God is close to the broken hearted and in that closeness, in that given moment, God clearly impressed on Logan's heart a message of purpose and hope. Logan then called KSBJ and shared the message with Mike Kankelfritz. The message was played on the air and the response was overwhelming. It wasn't long before people were emailing the message around the world. The phone call was put into video form by a Church in California. Within 3 weeks of the phone call six million people were trying to listen to the message on KSBJ's website. The website crashed and they had to find another server that could handle the traffic. There has been many emails and phone calls to Logan. People expressing how God Almighty had touched their life through this simple but powerful message of old. Logan's life changed tremendously. His walk with God has been uplifted and encouraged. He has experienced sharing his story with the 700 club, various radio stations and spoke at a cowboy church service. One of the highlights of all this was meeting the wonderful people at KSBJ in Houston, TX.
Logan continues his life on the ranch where he daily takes care of animals works with his family. He enjoys taking in God's creation and like any 13 year old likes driving any chance he gets!
