                 Purity

Purity is a huge issue especially in today’s culture. It is important that you not only save yourself for your future husband or wife. But also dress modestly in a way that would please God and save your body for your future husband or wife. What we do now will affect us later. Just like have giving ourselves to someone else instead of our wives or husbands.

Purity is also reflected by how we dress. What we wear reflects our personality. So if you are dressing improperly people are going to think that you want to have sex out of marriage. That’s why it is important to dress modestly. I also know how hard it is to find modest cloths in this day and age. I heard a story about an eleven year old girl who was upset about the selection a store had and how they had nothing modest to wear. So she wrote a letter to the president of the company telling them how she didn’t like their selection and how they should sell a lot more modest cloths. That letter was talked about for a long to and even the New York Times did a story on it.

There are also the consequences of saving yourself for marriage. If you don’t there can be unplanned pregnancy and disease. It is also emotional as well because you feel all these emotions that come with the choice you made. Also when you have an unplanned pregnancy you have to marry the girl and go out and get a job. You can’t go to college because you have to support your family and you can’t fulfill your dreams because your new family needs you at home. You also can’t marry the girl God had for you because you wanted your gift to soon. Now isn’t it just easier to obey.

But if you wait you could be married to the girl had for you will love you for who you are. You can have kids and grow them up to be pure. You can fulfill your dreams and go to college. You can love your family and not be ashamed of the choices you’ve made. You can be proud of your kids, take to their football and soccer games, and help them with home work.

Now you have seen the choices you have which one will you fallow. It’s just like Christmas gifts, do you want to open it before the time comes or on that special day. It’s your choice to decide what you will choose heart ache and sorrow or happiness and peace of mind. It’s your choice but I guarantee you though if you choose to save your gift until marriage you will be so happy you did.

Easter Devotional

                                                Luke 23:34,

Jesus said “Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.”

Jesus Christ was willing to put it all the line to save us. We were even worthy to wash his feet, but He washed ours. We don’t deserve to be in the same room with Him yet He taught us and loved us as a Shepherd loves his sheep. We didn’t even deserve to stand before Him but yet he called us sons and daughters. He a gracious and merciful God and sent his one and only Son to die for us. We may not think we deserve to be His children but the great thing about God is He loved us enough to send His Son to die a brutal and horrific death save us. All God asks is that you come and except Him. As your Father, you’re Daddy and to have an everlasting relationship with. That’s what Easter is all about. So will you run to your heavenly Fathers arms or will believe the lie that so many of us used to believe.

                                                    Luke 23:47

The centurion seeing what had happened praised God and said, “Surely this man was the Son of God.”    

Wow, is the only word I can think of when I think of what God has done through this phone call that Logan made over a year ago.  God continues to use it to minister to  people around the world.  Some are encouraged and struck with emotion. Others have found healing for their hearts through the phone call. Some have even come to Christ through the message. The Holy Spirit has definitely been at work through this from the beginning. Logan, from the beginning, has been humble about all that has happened and even has had the "deer in the headlights' look at the response that he continues to receive. To him, he was just sharing his heart from a life experience on the ranch and expressing what God had laid on his heart.

This message is going around the world again. Millions of people have heard it and they continue to share it with others. Logan still gets cards, emails and phone calls every week. We still do interviews here and there. We love to talk about what all God has done through this one phone call. Logan's Dad and I desire for the message to continue to be used according to God's plan, for many to come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord of their life, and for God to guide Logan in how to continue to use this gift of communicating that he has been given.  Our faith has grown immensely through this as we have watched God's power and sovereignty at work.

To fellow Christians: submit yourself to God's leading, bask in His love and above all else guard your heart for out of it come the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23  Stay the course even through these uncertain times. You never know when God is going to show up in a big way and encourage many through your  everyday life. Your life does matter to God!!!!

 I personally, can not wait for Jesus to come on His white horse to reign and rule in this dark world. Until then, I stand in reverence and awe,
